FerMonster 7 Gallon Wide Mouth Carboy

Our 7 Gallon FerMonster Wide Mouth Plastic Carboy is the next generation of Wide Mouth fermenters. Designed with ease of use in mind the 4" Wide Mouth makes filling the FerMonster with your wort or must a breeze! Composed of heavy PET plastic this food-grade fermenter is nearly impermeable to oxygen transfer. This thick plastic allows for a smooth surface design, removing the need for ribs/textures found in competitive Wide Mouth fermenters which in turn eliminates spaces for yeast or bacteria to hide. In addition the smooth surface makes cleaning easier than ever! A punted bottom collects sediment on the sides which enables you to siphon your beer/wine from the center. Aside from a more sanitary design these Wide Mouth Carboys are nearly unbreakable and will provide you peace of mind without the worry about dropping or breaking them like a standard glass carboy. PET Plastic will not transfer any taste or odors to your fermented beverages.

The FerMonsters come with a thick, air-tight lid with an O-ring to ensure a proper seal. Volume markers are located at the 5, 6, and 7 gallon measurements to make filling clear and easy to understand. Lid accepts our Plastic Carboy Bung (CB033). Plastic Carboy Bung sold separately.
